Shackerley has developed its own innovative rear ventilated rainscreen cladding installation system, Sureclad, for use with ceramic granite slabs and more traditional rainscreen façade materials. Slabs are mechanically attached to a high-grade aluminium substructure using a patented stainless steel undercut anchor system. Using specialised drilling equipment, fixing points of precise dimensions are cut into the back of each slab providing an invisible fix and extremely strong stress-free anchorage. The Sureclad substructure has been designed for maximum versatility. By using different combinations of profiled horizontal rails, vertical profiles and flexible or load bearing brackets, the cladding installation team can cater for a wide range of different applications, site conditions, building designs and cladding materials. The Sureclad system can be prefabricated off-site for fast track installations. |
