Kier Property - Industrial Development - Bicester, Bicester Park

Kier Property has submitted a planning application for 11,275sq m (121,365sq ft) of distribution space at its Bicester Park scheme in Bicester, Oxfordshire, due to strong occupier interest.
Nigel Turner, director of industrial said: “We are confident of the demand for modern, high quality warehouse space in prime motorway locations such as Bicester Park. It is located only three miles from the M40 and A34, providing good transport connections to other regions such as London and the Midlands.”
All of the existing units on the 1.8 hectare (8 acre) estate are now occupied. The last speculative unit was let in the autumn.
Recently, local storage and distribution company, Bicester Logistics took a 15-year lease with five-year upwards only rent reviews at an annual rent of £235,000 per annum. Only two sites remain available where Kier Property are seeking pre-lets.
Other occupiers on the site include Tibbett & Britten, Bibby Distribution, Aura Books, Fresh Direct and Atlas Hydraulic Loaders Ltd. Over 450,000sq ft is now occupied on the scheme.
