AET Flexible Space, world leader in under floor air conditioning has just completed another high profile refurbishment project in Cavendish Place in London. Making use of the raised floor as a plenum has transformed this old building into a high class high tech space for use by a variety of tenants.A feature of the space is the use of Oak panel raised floor which offers a high class feel to this historic building. Currently AET is providing systems in a further 6 projects in London and 2 in the provinces.

The flexible space system has been shown by BAA Lynton and the Swedish National Pension fund to save in the region of 5-7% in overall construction cost and at the same time reduce construction periods by a staggering 25%.when compared with conventional build concepts.Ideal for new builds where height savings in excess of 10% are often achieved with the obvious cost savings or for refurbishment where height limitation is often encountered. Users include CAA, Bloomberg, News International, Glaxo, BNP, BBC, World Bank,Land Rover Group.British Midland,Easynet,Music Choice,Willis and many more. Through the Egan initiative The Flexible Space System has been found to reduce time and cost in overall construction whilst enhancing the indoor environment and produtivity of the users.
