Kier Property - Industrial Development - Enfield, Crown Road

Kier Property, part of the Kier Group, has beaten off intense competition to secure a 3.3 acre (1.3ha) site in Crown Road, Enfield from Yoplait Dairy Crest for an industrial development under its specialist Trade City brand.
The site, a former head office site with some production and storage facilities, is well located opposite Enfield Retail Park close to the A10 Great Cambridge Road, the M25 and the North Circular Road.
Kier Property has agreed terms with an occupier new to Enfield for two-thirds of the site for a 3,484 sq m (37,500 sq ft) Trade City unit. The remainder, which provides up to 2,323 sq m, (25,000 sq ft) will be marketed for leasehold and freehold units ranging from 372 sq m (4,000 sq ft) upwards.
Kier Property’s Trade City brand provides accessible, high quality units for trade, distribution and service-based companies. Trade City director Nigel Turner commented: “First Class motorway access is a prerequisite of any Trade City scheme and being just minutes from the M25, this development has attracted a good deal of interest. Trade City also offers local occupiers considerable flexibility with leasehold and freehold options in a variety of sizes. A range of fit out options is also available. As a result, this scheme provides an attractive development to the local area.
“More sites are urgently required to expand our portfolio. With the current market conditions, Kier Property is well placed to purchase more stock and has the resources in place to expand the Trade City Brand. We are also targeting larger schemes for traditional sheds.”
