Prestigic - Leisure Development - Staines, Thames Edge

Prestigic have exchanged contracts with Yates Bros pie to open a Ha! Ha! Bar & Canteen in their landmark development, fronting the River Thames, in Staines town centre. Ha! Ha! Bar & Canteen will open in a double unit, totalling 6,400 sq ft and are due to commence fit-out at the end of April with an opening date scheduled for the middle of July.

The Thames Edge development is located in one of the most prominent locations in the town centre on the northern bank of the River Thames, adjacent to Staines Bridge. The development itself is a landmark Riverside and Town Centre development including 65 luxury apartments with a total of some 23,000 sq ft of A3/leisure units, some overlooking the River Thames and some with access from Clarence Street.

Bar & Canteen concept since they are exactly the type of lifestyle bar operator that it was intended to attract as occupiers for the development in keeping with the attractive riverside setting and the high quality nature of the appearance of the building and its environment. The development is almost complete and I anticipate negotiations with operators for the other units will be finalised in time for all the units to be open and trading during the summer to take advantage of the obvious benefits of summer trade in a Riverside setting".
