FPDSavills - Retail Sale - Hammersmith, King Street

A private Irish investor client of FPDSavills and Palmer McCormack has purchased the 5295.3 sq m (57,000 sq ft) former Littlewoods department store at 49-63 King Street, Hammersmith, W6, from Littlewoods for around £14m.

The property, which has been extensively refurbished and subdivided to provide three retail units, is currently let to Sainsburys, Clintons and TK Maxx for between 15 and 20 years, producing an annual rent of £815,000 pa.

Mark Garmon-Jones, associate director of FPDSavills, says: “This well let investment offers excellent rental growth prospects for our clients in one of London’s most improving retail locations.

“It is the first joint purchase by FPDSavills and Palmer McCormack since the association between the two firms was secured in March this year and we are working on a number of other exciting opportunities involving Irish funds and private investors.”
