FPDSavills - Offices Development - Bridgwater Business Park

Express Park Development Company Ltd has completed the first speculative office building at its 42 hectare (105 acre) Bridgwater-based Business Park just off Junction 23 of the M5 in Somerset.

The new 5,040 sq m (54,250 sq ft) three storey office building has been designed as an HQ facility.

The scheme has already attracted occupiers including Exel, Chickmaster and Options 1,2,3 and has additional land for up to 20,180 sq m (217,250 sq ft) of offices and 92,900 sq m (1,000,000 sq ft) of industrial and warehouse accommodation available on a preletting basis.

On-site amenities including a Whitbread pub and Travel Lodge are currently under construction and close to completion. Planning consent has just been granted for The Exchange which is a mixed use facility incorporating a 1,200 member capacity Health Centre and Gymnasium, Coffee Shop, Day Nursery and 160 seat Conference Theatre with Syndicate Rooms. This is scheduled for completion within the next 12 months. There are also plans for a convenience store at the entrance to the Park.
