Briggs & Forrester - Offices Development - University College London

Briggs & Forrester Group has commenced work on a £3.2 million contract with Kier (London) Ltd to supply and install mechanical, electrical and public health services to the new development for University College London at Torrington Place in London’s West End.
The building is an extension at the rear of the New Engineering Building, and comprises of Workshops, Clean Laboratories, a Wet Laboratory, Computer Labs, Meeting Rooms, Welfare Facilities and includes the installation of new engine test cells and control rooms.
The project is phased over 60 weeks and parts of the building, including the Thermodynamic Laboratories, remain operational during the works.
Leading architects Nicholas Grimshaw & Partners have designed the building and Faber Maunsell consulting engineers are appointed to design the Mechanical & Electrical services.
