Property developer, Chelsfield plc and project manager boxmill consulting have launched the workshop studios, Emerson Studios at 4-8 Emerson Street, Bankside, London, SE1 on to the market.

The 2,781 sq m (29,310 sq ft) former light industrial was converted from a dilapidated shell and refurbished into a six-storey development. It was designed and project managed by boxmill consulting who transformed it into 11 workshop studios from 78 sq m (840 sq ft) to 652 sq m (7,021 sq ft).

boxmill consulting director, Danny Chalkley comments: “We are extremely pleased with the results of the project, especially with its location orientated towards the creative industry. It meets the market lifestyle demand for work studios close to living accommodation.”

The fourth floor is occupied by DHA Lighting.
