Vail Williams - Mixed-Use Development - Hampshire, Hedge End Trade Park
Date: 11 Dec 2003
Quadrant Estates has completed its development of Hedge End Trade Park, Hampshire just off junction 7 of the M27.
The scheme, which totals 40,690 sq m (43,800 sq ft), consists of 12 trade units and two restaurants. All but three of the trade units have now been let to tenants including Halfords, Formula One Autocentres, Floors 2 Go, Iron Bed Company and Leyland Decorator Centres. The two restaurants have been let to Pizza Hut and KFC.
Alex Medhurst from Vail Williams says: “The development has planning consent for Class B8 warehousing with ancillary showrooms and has achieved rents of up to £15 per square foot reflecting the scheme’s prominence within a prime retailing location.”
Each building has a steel portal frame, with plastic coated metal sheet cladding and an up-and-over loading door.
The agents acting for Quadrant Estates are Vail Williams and Cushman & Wakefield and the development is held by Scottish Widows.
