Boxmill Consulting - Leisure Development - London EC3, Coopers Row

Grange Hotels has appointed Boxmill consulting to project manage the 2,796 sq m (30,100 sq ft) extension to its new five star Grange City Hotel on Coopers Row, London, EC3.

The luxury Grange City Hotel, which opened in November 2002, is located in Tower Hill and comprises 240 bedrooms over 12-storeys, a sushi bar, health suite, whiskey bar and driving range. Planning permission has already been gained for the new seven-storey extension which will provide an additional 70 bedrooms and a wine bar.

Danny Chalkley, director of boxmill consulting comments: “We hope this will establish a long term relationship with Grange Hotels and are delighted to be appointed to work on the scheme. It is a complex job with challenging constraints which will hopefully highlight the capabilities of boxmill consulting.”

Completion is expected by the end of 2004.
