KFC, advised by Vail Williams and Burns Property Consultants, has strengthened its presence in the south east acquiring four new sites in Hampshire and East Sussex.
In Hampshire, the drive-thru’ operator has purchased a 1.24-hectare (0.5-acre) site from Tesco at North Harbour in Portsmouth with plans for a 270 sq m (2,900 sq ft) drive-thru’ restaurant with 35 parking spaces.
Peter Spelman of Vail Williams comments: “The securing of the new sites in prime locations is a result of KFC’s aggressive expansion in the south east followed by their plans to open 60 new stores over the next 12 months.”
Vail Williams and Burns Property Consultants are retained to acquire further sites throughout the south east.
Madford Developers was advised by Angermann Goddard and Loyd in Eastbourne and Young & Butt advised Tesco.
