Overbury - Offices Development - Fareham, Solent Business Park
Date: 30 Jan 2004
One of Hampshire’s biggest employers, National Air Traffic Services (NATS), has awarded Arlington Business Services, in partnership with office fit out specialist Overbury, a £10 million contract to fit out its new corporate and technical centre located at Solent Business Park in Fareham, Hampshire.
The business park comprises three buildings spanning 130,000 sq ft which Arlington has just completed to shell and core stage. Under a unique partnering arrangement, Arlington’s service division together with Overbury will carry out a specialist fast track fit-out to the precise requirements of NATS. The scheme includes office areas, restaurant facilities and a complex technical support centre for more than 750 people. Overbury will provide all construction related activities and manage the project which is due for completion in May 2004.
“This project demonstrates the added value service now available from Arlington,” says Peter Daniels, a Director of Arlington Business Services. “Customers have a single point of responsibility for every aspect of the workspace saving time and cost and yet still retaining the benefits of using their own specialists for each phase of the project.”
“We are delighted that NATS has chosen to work with us on this project,” says Chris Booth, Managing Director of Overbury. “We are looking forward to fitting out state-of-the-art new facilities for its teams in Fareham.”
