FPDSavills - Industrial Development - Bridgwater, Express Park

Gerber Foods Ltd has agreed leasehold terms at Express Park, Bridgwater on 15.38 ha (38 acres) to construct a 69,700sq m (750,000 sq ft) production plant and warehouse.

The largest property deal in the South West for many years continues the exceptional success achieved on the park which is also the 15,334 sq m (165,000 sq ft) regional base for Exel/NHS.

The move for Gerber, Bridgwater’s largest employer, secures the future of over 800 jobs in the town and enables the company to develop state of the art production facilities for its broad range of juice products including Ocean Spray.

Geoff Revell of Express Park stated: “We are delighted to have formed a partnership with Gerber which will allow for their exciting expansion plans to take place in Bridgwater. This transaction, the on-going success within our office campus and the commencement of our conference centre, gymnasium and day nursery confirms Express Park as the strategic business venue in the South West”
