Douglas Duff - Industrial Development - Bedford, Priory Business Park

Date: 06 Feb 2004

Construction work has now been completed on Phase 2 Abbey Court at Priory Business Park, Bedford’s premier business location, and units in this new development of high-quality offices are ready for occupation and offered for sale, with no stamp duty payable, through agents Douglas Duff.

"The location of the Abbey Court development within the Kingsbrook ward means that the site benefits from Disadvantaged Areas Relief" explained Andrew Clarke of Douglas Duff. "So this latest phase of the Abbey Court scheme is doubly attractive, offering high quality premises with the bonus of stamp duty exemption."

Phase 2 of Abbey Court offers seven high-quality units of traditional brick construction with tiled roofs. The two-storey office units range from 1,965 sq ft (183 sq m), and feature double-glazed windows, suspended ceilings with Category 2 lighting, fitted carpets and well-specified internal fittings. Aimed at owner occupiers, the emphasis is on security, comfort and style, and the units also enjoy plenty of parking and immediate access to the Southern By-pass.

The four units in Phase 1 Abbey Court are now fully occupied.
