Akeler - Mixed-Use Development - Sunderland, Rainton Bridge

Award winning international business park developer, Akeler, and City of Sunderland have appointed Jones Lang LaSalle and Lambert Smith Hampton as joint agents for its major new business park development at Rainton Bridge, Sunderland.
The team will be headed by James Pitt, Jones Lang LaSalle and David Nicholson, Lambert Smith Hampton with James’s team taking a national and international remit while Lambert Smith Hampton's Newcastle office focuses on generating interest locally and regionally.

The development will cement Sunderland as a key European business location and strategic investment opportunity for any business looking to locate in Britain.”
Following an investment of £100m the first phase, due for completion in the 2nd quarter of 2005 is currently being designed. Phase One will also incorporate a state-of-the-art incubator unit, to support the regions start-up enterprises, and a well-equipped amenities suite. When complete, Rainton Bridge will provide 700,000 sq ft of contemporary office space.
