Ashgate Development Services Limited - General Development - Coventry, Museum of British Road Transport (MBRT)

Ashgate Development Services Limited has been appointed to project manage the further extension and refurbishment of the Museum of British Road Transport (MBRT), incorporating a new entrance, shop area, café and additional exhibition space. The projects have a combined value of £1.4 million and are due for completion in May 2004.

The project management was awarded to Ashgate as an extension of its excellent work on the Phoenix Initiative, which incorporates the integration of a new façade for the MBRT into Millennium Place and will be completed in February 2004.

In addition, Ashgate has also been appointed to coordinate and oversee an ongoing programme of maintenance, roof replacement, asbestos removal and the fitting-out of new areas and exhibition stands/exhibits, being undertaken by various agencies in Coventry.
