Chantrey Davis - Mixed-Use Development - London E14, South Quay Square

A start has been made on the £64.5 million construction phase at South Quay Square, to include a 272 bedroom, four star Hilton Hotel with conference facilities, 152 waterfront apartments, restaurants and provision for a 100,000 sq ft office block.

Chantrey Davis's Director, John Furlong, co-ordinating main contractors, Shepherd Constructiuon and Laing O'Rourke is pleased with progress:

"South Quay Square, phased to reach two million sq ft, will be among London's largest mixed developments and we are well on track to finish the first phase in 12 months time. The design team and contractors have worked hard and we are looking forward to delivering a high quality project in this excellent location along side Canary Wharf".
