Sladen Estates - Offices Development - Nottinghamshire, The Village

The construction of Sladen Estates' new prestigious office development, The Village, is due to start on site.

When complete The Village will provide 120,000sq-ft of high quality office accommodation set in 8 acres. Located less than ¼ of a mile from junction 28 on the M1, the scheme will enjoy excellent road links and nearby amenities.

There has been much interest in the scheme and Sladen Estates' managing director, Nick Sladen, is delighted that three units totalling 14,000sq-ft are already under offer: "With 3 units pre-sold from our initial first phase of 36,000sq-ft, which is being speculatively built, has confirmed our belief that there is demand for such a high-end scheme out of town and not burdened with the high rents associated with similar schemes. The units are built with raised access floors and air conditioning as standard, with access into the site controlled by a permanent security gatehouse."

Sladen Estates appointed Derby-based architects, Red4, to design the buildings, which will be set in attractive grounds designed by renowned landscape architects, Faulks Perry Cully Rech.

The Village is the third joint venture between Sladen Estates and Espalier Private Equity and the first phase units are due for completion early 2005.
