sbh - Industrial Development - Walsall, Multi-Million Pound Fit-Out

Distribution property specialist sbh.uk is to be the Project Manager for the construction and fit-out of a new 25,000 sq m (269,100 sq ft) high bay distribution centre in Walsall for 'off-price' retailer TK Maxx. sbh.uk will be handling the fit-out in conjunction with Warehouse Planning Limited.
The multi-million pound fit-out includes a further 14,000 sq m (150,000 sq ft) mezzanine floor to the building which will be equipped with 30 dock levellers and doors. External works include parking for 490 cars and 95 lorries. Work started in June and the building is scheduled to go live in February 2005.
sbh.uk successfully completed a similar project for TK Maxx in Newcastle-under-Lyme in 2002 and has gained extensive experience in retail distribution facilities with clients such as Austin Reed, bon marché, B & Q and Woolworths.
