Date: 28 Jul 2004
Easter Development has successfully achieved planning consent for Phase II of its Ashburton Park 13,935 sq metres (150,000 sq ft) warehouse scheme at Trafford Park, Manchester. The second phase of 749 sq metres (72,650 sq ft) will follow Phase I, which has only just been completed and is already 60 % let or sold, achieving rents of £70.00 per sq metre (6.50 per sq ft) on lettings and £807.00 per sq metre (£75 sq ft) on sales.
The scheme is located at Ashburton Road on the former Adtranz site, half a mile from junction 9 of the M60 and the second phase will comprise thirteen units totalling 6,739.90 sq metres (72,650 sq ft).
The units will be ready for occupation in Autumn 2004 and will be finished to the same high standard as Phase I; with large yards, car parking areas and an eaves height of between 6 metres and 8 metres.
Mark Braithwaite, development director at Easters Manchester office comments Phase II of Ashburton Park continues the excellent success of Phase I, providing high quality industrial units to the smaller end of the market which are proving highly attractive to both owner occupiers and tenants alike.
Agents for Ashburton Park are Fletcher King and Dunlop Heywood Lorenz.
