Edinburgh House Estates - Retail Development - Eastbourne, Langney Shopping Centre

Edinburgh House Estates has submitted a planning application for a 44,000 sq ft (4,088 sq m) extension to its Langney Shopping Centre, Langney, Eastbourne, East Sussex

The proposed extension will comprise two 22,000 sq ft (2,044) units for retail and leisure use. Existing tenants at the 125,000 sq ft (11,612 sq m) centre include Tesco, Iceland, Boots, Peacocks and LIDL.

Tony Quayle, managing director of Edinburgh House, comments: "Eastbourne remains a hugely popular tourist destination and the expansion of the Langney Shopping Centre will enhance the town's retail and leisure offer.

"Accommodation has been designed to meet the occupational demands of the modern retailer, helping to transform Langney into a regional retail destination that local residents can be proud of."
