Briggs & Forrester - Mixed-Use Development - Barking and Dagenham PFI Schools Project

Building services contractors Briggs & Forrester, working with main contractor Bouygues (UK) Limited, have begun work on the Barking and Dagenham PFI Schools project.

The design and build contract for the installation of mechanical, electrical and public health services, valued at £6.5m, was won in competitive tender and work on site commenced only three weeks later. Services include the provision of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, laboratory gases, plumbing, drainage, power, BMS system, security, CCTV and voice data for a new school that comprises classrooms, laboratories, kitchen facilities, offices, nursery facilities and a police office.
