sbh - Industrial Development - Peacocks' Cardiff NDC

Distribution property specialist sbh.uk has been appointed to act as tenant's agent for the completion of a 7,200 sq m (80,000 sq ft) extension to Peacocks' Cardiff NDC. The project involves fit out of all internal works and sbh.uk will have a senior project manager on site full time to oversee and co-ordinate subcontractor works. sbh.uk's Constructashed colleagues PSS will supply and install pallet racking, and Alpine Fire Engineers will be responsible for the sprinkler system. Other major sub-contractors include Whitehead Electrical and Kirkland M&E.

Peacocks is one of the UK's leading clothing and homeware retailers with more than 400 shops and the extension is vital to help the company keep pace with increased demand.

The project is scheduled for completion in September 2004 and continues sbh.uk's successful track record in retail distribution centres for clients such as Austin Reed, bon marché, B&Q and Woolworths.
