Terrace Hill - Offices Development - Newcastle, Gallowgate

Terrace Hill, in partnership with Gallowgate Properties, has been granted detailed planning consent by Newcastle City Council for a new city centre office development at Gallowgate, Newcastle.

The property will comprise 82,420 sq ft (7,657 sq m) of office space over seven floors, with 47 car parking spaces.

Philip Leech, director at Terrace Hill, comments: "Following the development of the 'Cube' on nearby Barrack Road, recently nominated for a landmark award, we are confident the plan and design of Gallowgate will complement this up and coming area and be in keeping with the surrounding architecture, as well as providing modern and much needed office accommodation for Newcastle city centre."

Works have commenced on site. Completion is scheduled for early summer 2006.

The letting agents are CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank.

The building was designed by Dennis Lister and Associates.
