McBains Cooper, the leading property and construction consultancy, has won a contract to provide 209 new homes as part of the regeneration programme in Elephant and Castle for Oakmayne Properties.
The scheme will provide 140 private homes, 18 live/work units and 5 work units. The remaining 46 flats will be affordable homes for Horizon Housing Association.
The design aims to maximise the density of this important site as well as creating a long-term sustainable community, said Jeremy Sutton, Director at McBains Cooper. We are delighted at the opportunity of being part of such an important regeneration programme.
McBains Cooper will be providing architecture, engineering services, project management, quantity surveying, planning supervision, due diligence services and will also act as employers agent for the scheme.
The scheme is scheduled to start on site in May and due to complete November 2006.
