Briggs & Forrester - Offices Development - Kettering, Kettering General Hospital

Leading building services contractors Briggs & Forrester continue to build on their success within the healthcare sector with the award of a contract for installation of mechanical, electrical and public health services at the new facility at nearby Kettering General Hospital that will incorporate an Ambulatory Care & Diagnostic Unit and an Educational Centre.

Briggs & Forrester will be working with main contractor HBG Construction and services consultants Hoare Lea on this project valued at £4.3 million. Services installed will include heating, ventilation, comfort cooling, chilled water, public health services, domestic services and medical gases. Also, small power, lighting that includes emergency and car park lighting, mains distribution, distribution boards, nurse call system, CCTV, access control, security, fire alarms and lightning protection. Work will begin in June 2005.
