Highcross - Appointment - Chris Mills

Date: 11 Jul 2005

Chris Mills, founder of Friarsgate Developments and renowned charity auctioneer, is to join Highcross as development director to lead its £150-million development programme, which will augment the on-going investment activities.

Newbury based Highcross launched a £500-million investment fund in 2004 and is looking to further expand its portfolio through development, initially focused on industrial and office schemes.

Chris says: "Highcross has a superb investment track-record and a long history of innovative development. The opportunity to expand the portfolio through an aggressive development programme was impossible to turn down. We will initially focus upon industrial and office projects but will also consider retail and leisure opportunities"

Peter Gubb, Highcross' managing director comments: "Chris is an extremely well known and respected operator in the commercial market with considerable experience in establishing and building successful development teams. His appointment will bring a further dimension to our operation."

"As a blind pool fund Highcross has the ability to respond quickly to opportunities that become available in our core target areas" he adds.
