Monk Dunstone Associates - General - The Investors in People Award

International property and construction consultancy, Monk Dunstone Associates (MDA), has received the Investors in People Award, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to improving the culture of the company and striving for excellence across all levels of the business.

The process to achieve Investors in People involves a number of interviews and the need to produce real evidence of processes for supporting staff and communication.

MDA was praised for open and honest internal communications and the assessors highlighted the excellent level of support to graduates and availability of training to all staff. The level of buy-in from staff for what the company is trying to achieve was also applauded.

Charles Johnston, chairman of MDA, said: "This is a real milestone for MDA and gives the company real momentum for the future. Our strong and committed management coupled with the optimism of our staff has been instrumental in our increasing success.

The assessors said: "Congratulations - an excellent example of how the introduction of Investors in People principles can be used to effect significant change."
