Monk Dunstone Associates - Offices Development - Scarborough, Rotunda Museum

International property and construction consultancy, Monk Dunstone Associates (MDA), has been appointed as planning supervisor by Scarborough Council and Scarborough Museums Trust to redevelop the listed Rotunda Museum in Scarborough.

The project, which will return the rotunda to its original role at the cutting edge of science, has been given £1.9 million by the Heritage Lottery Fund. A new internal design, including new display areas, as well as improved access form the basis of the redevelopment.

The scheme has already achieved a stage one pass and a stage two submission is due to be delivered by December 2005. Work is planned to start in April 2006 and will be completed by summer 2007.
