Briggs & Forrester - Offices Development - The Way We Work in Apsley

Leading building services contractors Briggs & Forrester have commenced work on a project that forms part of Hertfordshire County Council's 'The Way We Work in Apsley' initiative.

The contract, valued at £1.18million, involves the stripping-out, refurbishment and subsequent refitting of an existing two-storey building of approximately 43,500 sq ft to provide modern offices, meeting rooms, hot desking, tea points, deli bars and DDA compliant issues.

Briggs & Forrester will install mechanical, electrical and public health building services that include new heating and chilled water capital plant, modifications to pipework, new fan coil, modification to existing fresh air ductwork and public health services and a new comms room and air conditioning. Also new UPS installation, additional electrical distribution system, new lighting and small power, fire alarms and security including access control, CCTV and barrier control.

Completion is scheduled for the end of the year.
