Briggs & Forrester - Offices Development - Barking & Dagenham, PFI Schools Project

Building services contractors Briggs & Forrester, working with main contractor Bouygues (UK) Limited, have recently completed work on the installation of mechanical, electrical and public health services at the Barking and Dagenham PFI Schools project.

The design and build contract, valued at £6.2m, was won in competitive tender with work on site commencing only three weeks later. It provides new state of the art educational facilities at Jo Richardson School, Dagenham and Eastbury School, Barking. Services include the provision of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, laboratory gases, plumbing, drainage, power, BMS system, security, CCTV and voice data for new schools that comprises classrooms, laboratories, kitchen facilities, offices, nursery facilities and a police office.
