Totty Building Services - Offices Development - Bolton, St Mary's RC Primary School
Date: 24 Jan 2006
Totty Building Services has made a successful start to the New Year, securing a £250K project at St Mary's RC Primary School in Horwich, Bolton. The work to construct an extension at the rear of the school, as well as carrying out general refurbishment, will be carefully phased to minimise disruption to staff and pupils at the school, which will remain open throughout the project.
With a growing demand for additional classroom capacity, Totty Building Services will construct a single-storey load-baring masonry extension at St Mary's School to create a large teaching area. Three existing classrooms will also be reconfigured and refurbished to a high standard to provide modern teaching accommodation, with associated welfare facilities upgraded as part of the project.
Externally, Totty will resurface the playground and construct a new retaining wall, with the project due for completion at the end of June. Philip Ryder, managing director of Totty Building Services, commented: "By combining the responsiveness and hands on project management of a local small works contractor, with the support infrastructure of a much larger main contractor, Totty Building Services continues to secure high profile projects across Yorkshire and the North-West of England. Our emphasis on building strong relationships with our clients and successfully delivering high quality projects that exceed expectations continues to pay dividends, with over 70 per cent of business secured via existing clients."
