Lambert Smith Hampton - Offices Development - Slough, Regal Court
Date: 13 Feb 2006
Acting on behalf of Threadneedle Property Investments, Lambert Smith Hampton has secured a joint venture management agreement with serviced office providers Orega, recent winners of the coveted 'Business Centre of the Year' award, at 42-44 Regal Court, High Street, Slough.
Orega will now operate a new 14,000 sq ft state of the art business centre as a result of signing a joint venture 10 year management contract with Threadneedle Property Investments, on behalf of Zurich Assurance. The centre will provide up to 185 work stations with the very latest in VOiP ready telecommunications and ergonomic furniture.
Martin Gibbons, Associate Director at Lambert Smith Hampton's Slough office explains: "The serviced office market in Slough had a strong performance in 2005 and there is now shortening supply within the town centre. Building on Orega's success in Chertsey and Staines, they have decided to expand choosing their third centre in Slough. This joint venture agreement disposes of almost all of the remaining space within Regal Court in 1 transaction, allowing Threadneedle to benefit from the much improving town centre office market."
Zachary Douglas, Director at Orega says: "The emphasis on quality and service that we place on our operation has enabled our current centres to become very profitable over the past 5 years. The new Orega centre in Slough will enable us to bring our unique mix of style and service to businesses that have selected Slough as an office location - this new centre will be the first of a number of new Orega locations planned to open during 2006/2007."
