Inner London Group - Mixed-Use Development - Barking, North Street

Date: 28 Feb 2006

Inner London Group (ILG) is pleased to announce that Barking and Dagenham planning committee has approved their plans for an eight story development on the site of King's Reach in North Street Barking. The development will be a mix of 79 one and two bedroom apartments all with balconies. They will be constructed above an 8,000 sq ft private healthcare facility on the ground floor.

Construction is scheduled to start in May 2006 with a 12 month completion date.

In line with ILG's policy of providing homes for key workers, and working closely with housing associations, King's Reach has been pre-sold to Tower Homes. This follows the sale of ILG's previous development, Bridge Point in Havering to the Swan Housing Group.

Larry Fenttiman for the Inner London Group explained: "We are delighted to have achieved the planning permission for what will be a landmark building in Barking town centre. We are excited at the prospect of working with Tower Homes and look forward to providing them with a top quality building that will be delivered incredibly quickly due to our use of modern methods of construction.
