Teesland iDG - Industrial Development - Orpington, Orpington Trade Centre

The io Group's former development business, Teesland iDG, completed construction of its latest new industrial / warehouse development in Orpington, Kent, this month.

The 43,367 sq ft (4,029 sq m) scheme comprises 6 units, 3 of which have already been let

Teesland iDG currently have three further industrial / warehouse schemes under construction.

Using their "io centre" brand, two schemes are under construction at Basingstoke and Reading. This will bring the total number of "io centres" in the UK to 19.

In addition to this, a further scheme is under construction in Maidstone, Kent, which will be known as Access 4:20.

Rory Finnan, Development Director at Teesland iDG, says: "The io Group has been at the forefront of offering occupiers what they require. About 6 years ago we recognised that many occupiers did not want to carry on renting premises from institutional landlords. They wanted to buy their own unit and create an asset. The io centre development programme was specifically designed to cater for this demand. We have now sold over 150 units to owner occupiers.
