Humberts - Offices Development - Southampton, Charlotte Place
Date: 09 Mar 2006
Charlotte Place was the right "Place" to be this week when builders received an unexpected helping hand with the finishing touches to the new nine-storey office building.
The builder's mate in question was none other than Charlotte Place - a 20-year-old Southampton girl who just happens to share a name with the new landmark development.
Construction of the McAleer and Rushe development, which includes the new Jury's Inn as well as 83,000 sq ft of offices, has changed the face of the northern approach to the city centre.
And Charlotte was on hand in the countdown to completion of the construction works to assist the site manager Keith Byrne with the finishing touches.
The city's largest speculative office development for 15 years is being marketed by the Southampton offices of Humberts and Savills.
