Haslams - Industrial Development - Wallingford, Hithercroft Road

Allied Commercial Exporters Ltd have recently exchanged contracts on five of 21 business / warehouse units, currently under construction at their 'Own Your Own' Small Business Unit Scheme, Hithercroft Road, Wallingford at a price equating to approximately £127 per sq ft. A sixth transaction has just been agreed on a further unit.

Ian Turner of Development Managers Ravenbourne Securities Ltd comments: "The pre-sales at OYO, Wallingford demonstrate the continuing strong demand for high quality freehold small business units and we are encouraged by the interest in the remaining units, as the developments nears completion".

The development is due for completion in May 2006 and agents, Haslams and Aitchison Raffety are confident: "We have a number of parties all saying they are waiting for the first deal before taking this further", says Neil Seager of Haslams "no one likes to be the first on a scheme but ironically they sometimes secure a more favourable transaction."

The Wallingford scheme is one of five of Ravenbourne's 'OYO' small unit developments - others include Andover, Dagenham, Portsmouth, and Thame.
