Lambert Smith Hampton - Offices Development - Sheffield, Atlas Way
Date: 10 Jul 2006
As Wimbledon draws to a close Sheffield is to get its own Centre Court but the city's version won't be attracting the world's top tennis players but hopefully the region's top businesses.
Situated close to the popular Meadowhall area of the City, Centre Court is a speculative 10,163 sq ft (944.1m) three floor office destination. Developer, Prospect GB, is investing in the site and work begins this week.
The new development will be built on the old tennis courts of Distington & Atlas House, hence its name. The development is situated on Atlas Way and is visible from Brightside Lane, which will appeal to commercial users that have been drawn to this area.
Rebecca Schofield, from sole agent, Lambert Smith Hampton's Sheffield office, says: "This is a fantastic development which will bring much needed Grade A office accommodation to the area. It has been designed to maximise flexibility so that the space can be let in its entirety or on a floor by floor basis.
"It is expected to be completed within the next year and we are already talking to a number of interested parties about pre let opportunities."
