Atisreal - Offices Development - Swindon, Shaw Road Development Site

Wiltshire Constabulary, advised by Atisreal, has sold the freehold of its 2.98 acre (1.2 hectare) site at Shaw Road, Westlea, Swindon, to Countrywide for £2.45m.

The site currently houses a 31,929 sq ft (2,965 sq m) three-storey purpose-built police station, largely comprising office space, sold with vacant possession.

John Hawkins of Atisreal comments: "This was a rare opportunity to acquire a large plot with potential for redevelopment for residential use, and this was reflected in the price achieved."

Countrywide was unrepresented.
