Date: 09 Aug 2006
Jackson Construction secures two partnering framework deals with social housing providers Housing 21 and Swan Housing Group. Both framework deals provide Jackson with a pipeline of commercial opportunities over the next four years and further enhance the company's reputation within this burgeoning sector.
As one of the framework partners for the East Anglia region, Jackson has now formalised its working relationship with Housing 21, which has already resulted in the current £3 million extra care project in Haughley, Suffolk and the recently completed £3.2 million very sheltered housing scheme in Stutton, Suffolk.
Tayo Bilewu, director of New Business and Development for Housing 21, commented: "I am delighted that the framework partnership will facilitate the development of new quality housing and care options to meet the needs of older people."
Jackson Construction has also been confirmed as a partner on a four year, £400 million framework with affordable homes provider Swan Housing Group. The framework is set to deliver a wide range of new build facilities across Essex and East London over the next four years.
Phillip Allerton, director of Jackson Construction's Accommodation division, commented: "The company has made a significant investment in building up a dedicated team that possess the expertise and experience to add real value to our social housing clients. Our commitment to this sector continues to be rewarded commercially with Jackson's appointment to framework deals with two of the UK's leading social housing providers and we eagerly anticipate an increasing volume of projects over the coming years."
