Haslams - Industrial Letting - Reading, Reading's Largest Warehouse Deal This Year

Selco the Birmingham based builders merchant has chosen Reading as its newest location. They have taken 40,000 sq ft on a 20 year lease at Portman Road to the west of the town.

The property is currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment and is due to open to trade clients in November. The new facility will create up to 50 full and part time jobs.

"The warehouse market in Reading has been relatively quiet for the first half of 2006 - hopefully this deal is the start of things to come" commented Neil Seager, Partner at Haslams, who represented the landlord in this transaction.
