Brixton - Mixed-Use General - London, Brixton Reviews Agency Roles

Following a strategic review of leasing instructions, Brixton plc has re-configured its agency arrangements and appointed various firms to deal with distinct parts of its 31-estate, c.9m sq ft Heathrow and West London portfolio.

CB Richard Ellis, Colliers CRE, Edwin Hill, Jansons, JLL, King Sturge and Mills & Wood have been appointed to work on either existing availability or new development schemes.

At Heathrow, CBRE and King Sturge remain instructed on the Polar Park development and also - together with Swire Associates - on X2, the two storey warehouse scheme at Hatton Cross. King Sturge and Jansons are appointed to let the completed Spacewaye development at Feltham,

At Park Royal, at the former Guinness Brewery site, CBRE and Mills & Wood have been instructed along with Colliers who have been specifically appointed in relation to a pre-letting campaign. CBRE and Jansons are joint at Premier Park, and King Sturge and Edwin Hill have Greenford Park.

Commenting on the appointments, Brixton Chief Executive, Tim Wheeler said: "Overall, the major beneficiaries from these changes are Edwin Hill and Jansons who are now appointed on the vast majority of the properties in this portfolio reflecting their specialist skills in these areas.

"It is also our intention to offer a full 5% commission to any non-retained agents."
