Briggs & Forrester - Offices Development - Cambridge, £2.2m Installation Project for Babraham Bioscience

Briggs & Forrester have been awarded at contract valued at £2.2million for the installation of mechanical, electrical and public health building services at a new BioDevelopment building for Cambridge-based Babraham Bioscience Technologies Ltd.

Having worked on 'Minerva' named after the Roman goddess of wisdom and the first of three planned new buildings, Briggs & Forrester are delighted to be involved with the second, 'Meditrana', named after the Roman goddess of medicine.

The building services installation will include LPHW heating, chilled water cooling, supply and extract ventilation, fume cupboard extract, hot and cold water services, plumbing and sanitary ware. Also, internal power and lighting, external lighting, fire alarm system, security system, BMS control system, and external gas and water mains.
