Morrison Construction - Industrial Development - Aberdeen, £7.2m Maersk Oil Refurbishment Contract

Morrison Construction, part of Galliford Try group, has been awarded a £7.2 million contract to refurbish the Aberdeen headquarters of Maersk Oil North Sea UK Limited.

Commencing immediately, the1970's, four-storey building, located in Altens, will undergo a complete strip-out and the North East team will then start a programme of rewiring, reconfiguring the office spaces, replacing windows and roof repairs.

The works will be phased to allow Maersk Oil to continue to operate from the building, and work is scheduled to complete August 2007.
