ISG Jackson - Industrial Development - Norwich, £600k Toolbank Project
Date: 07 Nov 2006
ISG Jackson Special Projects has won a £600K project with leading tool distribution business Dormole Ltd, to extend facilities at its Toolbank branch on White Lodge Business Estate in Norwich. The burgeoning Toolbank business with 11 branches nationwide, supplies hand and power tools via daily deliveries to the retail trade, and to the construction industry via builder's merchants, and has requirements for additional warehouse capacity and increased office space at its Hall Road site.
The project will see ISG Jackson Special Projects construct a steel frame extension to the rear of the existing warehouse to create over 740 sq m of extra storage capacity, with the metal clad extension designed to blend seamlessly with the existing building. The contractor will also build a two-storey steel frame extension to provide additional office capacity for the tool distributor and carry out external hard landscaping works, with the project due for completion by March 2007.
Michael Manning, construction director for ISG Jackson Special Projects, commented: "The company continues to attract an increasing volume of retail sector clients by demonstrating excellent industry credentials and a straight forward, customer focused business approach. The percentage of repeat business secured by ISG Jackson Special Projects continues its upward trend, as we deliver consistent and high quality solutions for clients across a comprehensive spectrum of industry sectors."
