ISG Totty Building - Mixed-Use Development - Wirral, School Extension in Wirral

Date: 20 Nov 2006

ISG Totty Building has picked up another public sector education win with a £350K project at Hilbre High School on the Wirral to extend the existing City Learning Centre (CLC) on site. The project for Wirral Schools Services Ltd, will see ISG Totty Building construct a single-storey steel frame extension at the rear of the CLC to provide much needed extra capacity at the thriving community facility.

The extension, which will feature a brick and metal clad façade, will house a new workshop, store and office area and the contractor will carry out a minor externals package including landscaping works to the existing temporary car park. The fast-track project is scheduled for completion in February 2007.

Philip Ryder, managing director of ISG Totty Building, commented: "The decision to open our first ever regional office in Manchester just two years ago has been rewarded with an increasing volume of high quality project opportunities, across both public and private sectors. The North-West market is extremely responsive to our highly skilled, hard working and value added approach and our commitment to working closely with clients to provide innovative building solutions."
