HLM Architects - Appointment - Cardiff, Jonathan Jones to Head up Cardiff Office

Following several major successes in Wales, HLM Architects has opened a new office to serve the region and has appointed Jonathan Jones as Associate to lead the local team. The new office is located at Greyfriars House, Greyfriars Road, Cardiff, CF10 3AL.

Jonathan has experience across public and private sectors and particular expertise in healthcare and commercial developments. He has worked on major projects in Wales including St David's Hospital in Carmarthen, Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, South Wales, and Cardiff University, as well as a number of refurbishment projects across the region.

HLM has been working in Wales for two years and the new office has been opened as a result of HLM's ongoing involvement in the £30 million, circa 20,000 sq m neighbourhood hospital in Cynon Valley. This has been designed by HLM for the North Glamorgan NHS Trust to provide primary care support for the residents of Rhondda Cynon Taf and has achieved outline-planning consent. The office will also support the practice's involvement in the Designed For Life Building For Wales programme, the Welsh Assembly's key health strategy for the next decade.
