Matthews & Goodman - Industrial Development - Wrexham, The Future's Concrete For Excalibur!
Date: 22 Nov 2006
From week beginning 20th November 2006 the finishing touches will be added to Kingmoor Park Wrexham's newly refurbished 260,000sq ft distribution facility when nearly 8,000 tonnes of concrete will be poured into an area the equivalent of four premiership football fields to create the floor of this major new facility for Kingmoor Park and for Wrexham Industrial Estate.
The facility, recently relaunched as Excalibur is close to the end of its refurbishment programme, which has been carried out by Manchester based Russells Construction, providing a 260,000 sq ft bay distribution facility. The elevations have been entirely re-clad enabling the new floor to be laid.
This will enable a flat floor and 50KN m2 floor loading, suitable for high level racking that will be of interest to the logistics and distribution services.
Kingmoor Park have therefore launched the remarketing of this site to highlight and promote some of the excellent services it includes such as a power supply up to 10MV which would enable the accommodation to be used not only as distribution but as a manufacturing or production facility.
