Carillion's facilities services company, PME, has been re-awarded a contract by leading financial organisation ABN Amro, following a competitive tender process.
The contract, worth £3.5 million over three years, is for mechanical and electrical building services maintenance of the client's prestigious London headquarters. The 440,000 sq ft buildings need to be maintained to the highest standards to maintain the Bank's image and ensure business continuity is not compromised.
PME has a dedicated on-site team providing 24/7 maintenance services to the buildings. The team employs leading edge technology to help maintain the Bank's position in a very demanding market. Specialist equipment includes the latest rotary UPS sets and comprehensive control systems.
Stuart Linington, MD of PME static sites, comments: "ABN Amro has always been a very important customer and retaining this contract allows us the opportunity to refresh our service delivery to them. Working in partnership with the Bank we are now focusing on moving this contract to a position where it is recognised as industry best practice."
